Are you a regular runner, biker, golfer, swimmer, tennis player or hiker? Do you have another sport or activity that you love? In these two sessions, Tara will create a short stretching routine for you to do right after your activity of choice that will help you recover faster, feel better then next day and have more mobility the next time. These sessions will be designed very specifically to you, your activity, your bio-mechanics and your schedule.

Winter workshops will begin slowly- giving both the body and mind time to wake up and prepare for a fuller practice. The middle of each session will build to a few challenging poses. They will conclude with restorative poses and a long savasana, giving both body and mind some of the rest it needs in this dormant season.

Balance on a Star’s Yoga Therapy and Private Yoga sessions are specifically tailored to meet your needs. Tara Atkinson takes the time to meet with and listen to each of her students and then creates a practice to best address their particular needs. You will leave each session with new tools to enhance your yoga practice and better care for yourself.
